Channels Golf Club

Founded in 1974, The Channels Complex is located just north of Chelmsford and is the ideal setting to host weddings, conferences and golfing events.
Set in over 300 acres of undulating parkland, with stunning views of the Essex countryside, is the 14th Century Clubhouse, incorporating their Brasserie restaurant and two meeting rooms. Alongside the clubhouse is their main function suite, the 18th Century thatched Essex Barn.

The beautifully restored Barn is an idyllic venue for weddings and is licensed for civil ceremonies up to 90 seated and 130 for the wedding breakfast. Set in tranquil surroundings, with large outside areas, a stunning fountain, an avenue of mature trees & a Four Star Gold Award fourteen bedroom lodge for you and your guests.

Located close to the M25 and A12, 20 minutes from Stansted Airport and only a few minutes from Chelmsford town centre, Channels is ideally situated for conferences and corporate events.  The Essex Barn benefits from lots of natural daylight and the flexibility of seating 120 or 200 for more informal gatherings and can be sub-divided into smaller units if required.  The delightful patio area overlooks the first tee on the Belsteads golf course and is perfect for pre and post dinner drinks, or a breakout area for meetings.
