Originally a large period farmhouse and outbuildings, The Rivenhall Hotel was considerably extended and converted to a hotel in the late 1960’s. Since buying the Rivenhall Hotel in 2005, Greenwoods Estates has completed major refurbishments to the Reception, Lounge, Restaurant, Banqueting suites, Fitness Centre and Conference rooms, making The Rivenhall Hotel one of the most exclusive venues in Essex.

Their facilities now include: a modern bar and lounge area; the original oak beamed Wildberry Restaurant; 55 en-suite bedrooms; 7 conference rooms including 2 beautiful banqueting suites and our modern Hi-Life Fitness Centre.

The Rivenhall Hotel is located at the heart of Essex, just off the busy A12 trunk road midway between Chelmsford and Colchester where it bypasses the small town of Witham.
