Essex Golf
There are many Essex Golf Clubs scattered
across the County with beautiful ranges and
extra facilities to include spas, accommodation
and fine cuisine in the various club houses.
Some of Essex Golf highlights include Stock
Brook Golf & Country Club in Stock which hosts
many major events including the prestigious PGA
East Region Final Order of Merit where some one
hundred top professionals from the seven
counties compete & Woolston Manor which opened
in the spring of 1994 and since that time it has
hosted several large tournaments including the
final of the Essex Leslie Wood Trophy on two
occasions and the PGA East Region Assistants
Championship
