Gardens of Easton Lodge
The
Gardens of Easton Lodge are situated north of
Great Dunmow and were originally designed by
Harold Peto in 1902 under commission by the
Countess of Warwick. They were maintained up
until 1950 by then were neglected and became
overgrown. In the 1970s they under-went a
project of restoration by the Creasey family
which is still ongoing with some areas now
reverted back to the original design. The
Gardens are open in February and March for
lovely displays of snowdrops.
