Hylands House

Hylands
House is set in 574 acres of historic landscaped
parkland. Following five phases of restoration,
visitors can now enjoy spectacular rooms
throughout the House, ranging from the
exquisitely gilded Drawing Room to the
sumptuously ornate Banqueting Room. The
magnificent Grand Staircase has been fully
restored to its former glory, and the Repton
Room on the first floor provides stunning views
over the landscaped parkland.

Riverside Ice & Leisure Centre

The
latest in sound and lighting effects combine
with a lively disco atmosphere in Riverside's
ice rink, one of only two rinks in the whole of
Essex.
It's also the home of the
Chelmsford
Chieftains Ice Hockey Team and the
venue for their exciting home matches. Rink-side
facilities at Riverside include a fully licensed
bar, cafeteria, hot and cold vending and seating
for over 600 spectators. There are over 2000
pairs of skates available for hire at the rink.

Tropical Wings World of Wildlife

Tropical
Wings at South Woodham Ferrers, Essex, is set in
acres of attractive gardens and features one of
the largest butterfly houses in the country.
There are many different species of birds,
insects and animals.
