Battlesbridge Antiques Centre
Battlesbridge
Antique Centre is made up of five main
buildings, including The Old Granary, on the
banks of the River Crouch, and the Haybarn,
which became the first provincial centre in the
country. Battlesbridge is the largest
Antiques Centre in Essex and also features a
Motorcycle and Penny Arcade Museum.

in 1960 in Billericay's busy High Street,
the privately owned museum is laid out in room
settings which include a Victorian sitting room
and bedroom.

Barleylands Farm

Barleylands
Farm is a unique farm based attraction in a
countryside location. Home to the Craft
Village, Miniature Steam Railway Farm Centre and
a bi-monthly Farmers Market. Barleylands
is also the venue for the Essex Steam and
Country Show along with other activities
throughout the year.

The Motorboat Museum

The
Motorboat Museum has been Britain's leading
authority on sporting and leisure motor-boats
since its creation in 1986. Many record
breakers and rare examples of boats, inboard and
outboard motors are housed in the museum.
There is also an extensive collection of
historic replica models and memorabilia.

on the Thames Estuary Marshes, Wat Tyler Country
Park has over 120 acres of Thorn Woodlands,
Adventure Play Areas, Craft Units, Miniature
Rails a Cafe and Education Centre. The
Park is also rich in plant and animal life which
includes a number of local and nationally rare
species
